Dean CopansManaging Director

Dean Copans, Managing Director at STREAM Capital Partners, brings nearly two decades of real estate experience with deep expertise in Capital Markets and private client transactions. He maintains a broad network of relationships with leading institutions, developers, and private owners across the investment property landscape. Dean began his career at Marcus & Millichap, specializing in multi-tenant retail investments and buyer representation. He later spent a decade with Retail West, where he oversaw Investment Sales. Dean went on to found Spruce Commercial, a leading Northern California–based investment real estate advisory firm, further expanding his practice and leadership within the sector.

Dean is admitted to the State Bar of California and earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Rhode Island. He is a licensed real estate broker in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Mississippi, Nebraska, and Georgia.
