Chelsea Mandel is Vice President at STREAM Capital Partners and is based in Greenwich, Connecticut. She focuses on structuring sale leaseback transactions and single-tenant real estate dispositions on behalf of her clients.
Chelsea began her commercial real estate career at Starwood Capital Group, a prestigious real estate private equity fund with over $60 billion in AUM. At Starwood, Chelsea was focused on value-add acquisitions in the retail and multifamily sectors.
Following her time at Starwood, Ms. Mandel joined New Mountain Capital, a leading middle-market private equity firm based in New York City. Chelsea was instrumental in the formation of the firm’s first real estate strategy, a $500 million net lease fund focused on acquiring single-tenant real estate. During her time at New Mountain Capital, Chelsea structured over $400 million in sale leaseback transactions of mission-critical industrial and office assets operated by middle-market businesses across North America.
Given her extensive experience in both commercial real estate investing and credit underwriting, Chelsea possesses a unique skillset as it relates to advising clients on sale leaseback transactions and net lease dispositions. She takes a holistic approach to her analysis and tailors her solutions to meet the needs and goals of each individual client. Her clients include family-owned, founder-owned, and private equity-owned businesses, as well as public companies, developers, and real estate investors.
Chelsea is actively involved in various organizations including NAIOP, a commercial real estate development association, the Jewish National Fund, where she is a board member of New York’s JNFuture, the organization’s young leadership team, and the Women of Dartmouth. Chelsea received her B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College, graduating magna cum laude in 2015 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, one of the nation’s most prestigious academic honor societies.
