At closing, the property will be leased back, on a long-term absolute net lease, to Alabama Shipyard, LLC, or the “Company.” Alabama Shipyard repairs, maintains, breaks and converts ships, primarily for the Military Sealift Command and Marad. 90% of company revenue is from the federal government.
Proceeds will be used to fund growth capital expenditures, as well as to pay down debt.
